Teachers' Perceptions of Reflection Within an Accountability Structure.

This study explores the reflective process of the New Mexico Professional Development Dossier. It asks questions about teacher reflection (thinking about practice and belief) as mandated in the dossier. The focus is reflection about instruction and assessment and how required reflection relates to perceptions about teaching. It does NOT judge dossier worth or seek to modify dossier requirements.

It will take from one to two hours to answer the 10 questions. You may do the questions at one time, or come back to them as needed. Be sure to save login information so that you may return. The questions have a 750 word limit.

When you have completed and submitted all questions, you will be sent a $50 check as gratitude for your responses. There may also be a focus group organized in your area. If you are interested in participating, please indicate below. Focus groups are face-to-face discussions lasting approximately an hour and a half. Participants will be compensated at the same rate as for the online questionnaire.
